High School & Social Anxiety

I’m talking about how difficult high school was for me because of social anxiety disorder.

Coping with panic attacks isn't easy. It's something I lived with for more than 17 years, Panic Attacks I know firsthand. One of the worst things about it is all the little side-effects that develop as a result of your panic and anxiety.

One of these "little" things that can get out of control and become a huge problem anxiety cure your life is dizziness.

If you've lived with severe anxiety for any length of time, you'll know all about dizziness, I'm sure. The vast majority of people with panic and anxiety develop a dizziness-related problem at Panic Away point.

It can be mild dizziness, where panic attacks occasionally feel off balance, or it can be severe, life-changing dizziness where it affects your quality of life and even walking around proves difficult.

One of the best ways to deal with dizziness, and for coping with panic attacks in general, is to make use of some simple breathing techniques.

For many people with anxiety, the dizziness is a result of shallow or incorrect breathing.

To help fight off your anxiety-related dizziness, spend 2 or 3 minutes every couple of hours doing some very controlled breathing: breathing in through your nose for 5 or 6 seconds, holding the breath for a couple of seconds, and then slowly exhaling through your mouth for 5 or 6 seconds.

If you can make this a habit that you stick to every couple of hours, you should hopefully see a dramatic decrease in your dizziness.

It's finding ways to deal with these little anxiety side-effects that's the key to coping with panic attacks in general.
